2008 - AN EXCITING NEW FORMAT!!
This year the committee along with other local organisations have decided to change the format of Burntisland Civic Week to ensure resources are available and everyone still has a fabulous week.
The main change will be the PARADE. Meeting at the water feature on 21st June, we will follow the Burntisland Summer Queen as she parades towards the High Street. The High Street will be closed for this period and a street party will follow with various shops and stalls offering different activities.
Judging of fancy dress (groups & individuals) will take place on the High Street, with signposted areas along the street designated for the age groups to congregate.
The MARQUEE will feature on the Links the following weekend (long weekend) and will have various entertainments including the annual Civic Week Dance - which is always a sell out so get your tickets as soon as you can. (These will be available at Scotmed Herbs, Finatixs & the Toll Centre)
Look out for posters or leaflets coming through your door for times of all events including the ticket information.
Check out the News Section on the right hand side for latest developments.
